Root pruning isWe have the flexibility to provide next day service! used for, among other applications, flower stimulation, root control along a driveway, and to preserve a plant prior to excavation.

Clean cuts allow roots to heal faster, and healthy roots to regrow. With utility installations roots are mangled, and then backfilled with the poor, rocky subsoil. You should alert us before a utility trench is backfilled so we root prune your high value plants for you. If not, damaged roots will impact the ability of the plant to recover. If enough of the root system is damaged it may go in decline, become a hazard, and will need to be removed. Consider root barriers after root pruning for asphalt driveways to control the direction of root growth.
